Incidentally, am I the only one giggling at CJ's assurance that they "aren't going anywhere!" and people should tell their LJ friends to move there despite how many times they've had to beg just to pay their current bills?

supposedly, CJ had some commitment of either a monthly cash influx or hosting starting back in november, i thought...

what i find amusing is that they keep talking about changing platforms--first the post about switching away from LJ-based entirely, not a post about porting LJ from perl to PHP (i strongly suspect that rewriting the LJ code into PHP would be a performance nightmare and bring them down really fast, but that's just me).
