Me: We watch it.
Mum: But it's so bewildering!
Me: It's like Survivor, Mum, but with polar bears and plot.

Sweets said that to Booth on Bones when I was watching last night. And now I'm re-watching Lost (3.04 atm) and Sawyer is all rough and ragey and violent. And I have Pepper, who's... different from both of them.
I don't know why I love that so much, the thin veneer with this dark column under it, but for some reason it absolutely fascinates me. Julien, too - I called him "the smiler with the knife under his cloak", ty Chaucer. I just love this whole "ohi, how's it going, I'm going to stab you in the face now." With... varying degrees of niceness in the "how's it going" and varying degrees of crazyface in the stabbing. :P
