Vegetables and treats: $25 Toys: $30 Rabbit ignoring them all to tear up a piece of cardboard: Priceless.
eta: He is, however, now eating the treats I got him that are good for preventing hairballs. I only got them (and another variety of the same brand that helps control odor) because they actually do some good and he's only getting a few a week. I was rather more unimpressed by prettily dyed "rabbit and guinea pig fruit and vegetable treats" with "high protein and fibre" - 9% protein and 4.2% fibre. FOUR POINT TWO? That is not high! Fat was 6%, and personally I try to feed things that are more like... 20% fibre, 3% fat. This is why he lives off hay, pellets and vegetables.
