I'm watching the first ep of The Sarah Jane Adventures (and I kind of want to icon Alan and Maria Jackson and maybe Kelsie for random ethnic goodness) but I have to say.... "Okay, we've just moved in, I'm suddenly a solo dad for the first time - of course, the first thing I'm going to do is let my child run off into town with a random kid who just turned up at the doorstep who I haven't been introduced to or anything!" She didn't even freaking ask permission or tell him she was going until he stopped them to say goodbye.
The first conversation between Alan and Sarah Jane was pretty hilarious though. "Thanks for making us feel welcome!"

Zeborah: The important thing about that movie is--
Sass: Megan Fox is an enormous hypocrite and I hate her.
Zeborah: No, the important thing is, they don't have the theme song!
Dad: I think the important thing is that it ends.
Zeborah: Well no, because that means the people who go to see it eventually come back out.
God my family is so harsh, it's amazing.
