I... have not been keeping up with my wordcount. At present I'm at 21k and I suspect this is going to morph from a nano to... an ongoing project mishmashed of third person scenes and autobiographical ramblings that doesn't really have much of a point.

Considering I already have the death scene(s) up (which are a bit squicky btw), which I was going to stick near the end of the nano.

Iconning is good when I'm miserable because it's completely mindless. Select, crop, sharpen, duplicate layer, screen, duplicate, soft light, possibly mess with colour balance, brightness, contrast, maybe merge the layers. Almost no thought required.

I want to sleep through the night. I shouldn't take ativan. At least my mood was good for knocking off the angstiest angst on my fic backlog, and I managed to finish my BBtP piece before I got all blah.

My brain, it asplode.

I now have officially RPed three generations of the same family, as I pick up Esther Smith post-marriage pre-Zacharias in a 1977 PSL. She's actually sort of adorable. She isn't really as repressed as some of the purebloods of the age, being from Germany, but she's emotionally quite sedate and a little insecure, especially since she's been married three years and all she's managed is a miscarriage. (And she's due one more before Zach's born, too.) I actually fiddled with her age a bit, she's about five years younger than she has been in Zacharias' timeline - in which she had him in her v early thirties. In Purism she's 24 and Abraham is probably early forties or so. I'm having fun finding her voice as an English-as-second-language speaker, too. :P

Also have had muy fun with Astra and Benjy today, Astra being all "lo, I am so young and sweet and innocent and naive! I don't lie in obvious fashions to defend a reputation that needs a miracle to save it! My word can obviously be trusted later when I give alibis to people who can actually be helped!" and Benjy getting incredibly worked up in Marlene's defense over Sirius talking about Remus having first dibs on her. Because you can't call dibs on women you respect, dammit! Bless him.

I only have three more episodes of Lost first season. D: It's sort of like crack, but not in the way the crappy soap opera is - CSO is a bad trip that you unfortunately keep going back to.

And I shall go back to writing now. I finished the 7spells set I was working on for Esh and now I'm writing an East/Ophelia for Raisa (with a title stolen from those prompts also - The Effects of Impact on Stationary Objects, which is suitably nerdy for them).

Aubrey trots over as Jo leaves, grabbing Pepper by the arm as they head out to the foyer and he rolls his eyes tolerantly, passing over the fag.

"What's for dinner?" he asks, and takes a drag. "Can we get Indian? I'm dying for a curry."

"If you spill it I'm taking it off you." Really, Pepper suspects, that's probably not in line with Jo's instruction, but he's only had his place a few weeks and hell if he's going to let curry stains mess it up.

He thinks his partner might be psychic, because he hits him in exactly the same place Jo did. "If you starve me I won't have any energy left for sex."

"I'll take the risk. I can always trade you in for a cleaner model."

Pepper laughs, taking the cigarette back and sucking down the last of it before stubbing it out on the wall, grabbing some floo powder from the bowl and announcing his address. "Don't fall out the wrong grate."

I'm starting to feel a bit better. I rewatched Serenity today for like the twelfth time and just veged out, and my daddy bought me microwave popcorms yesterday so I popped some to eat while I was watching, and now I'm attempting to write and watching some random action movie with Sylvester Stallone in it. Also, Bones is starting a new season I think on Monday and the episodes I've caught of that show before were sort of amusing, so I think I should start watching it. This would make a total of two nights a week that have decent television on.

I'll probably be able to afford a new computer in a few weeks. ^_^

Earth Hour was tonight. We... did not participate. It was quite eerie looking out the window, though, and seeing utter blackness in large areas instead of the speckled lights on the hills and the squares from the closer neighbour's windows. I wanted to look at us on Google Earth, but it's not real time, so. :( Apparently the council offices turned off the lights. Mum wanted to know why the lights would be on at 8pm on a Saturday anyway. And the Lotto, which starts at 8pm, was talking about it, but I suspect they didn't want people to go "Oh, that!" and turn the tv off. Our Lotto broadcasts are fucking annoying, they don't just give you the numbers, they go on for about five minutes - in the old days that involved a lot more fluffing around and pointless crap, but they've added in bonus balls and Strike 4 and a roulette wheel and all sorts of crazy shit now.

Stuff is exploding on tv. :D

I'm very highly tempted by Pepper/Aubrey First Fight to start with, or possibly something from the Emotions line...

I wrote fic XD My Dear Watson, Pepper/Aubrey R rated fluff. Seeing as we've only had the characters a few days, I'd have to say that's the quickest I've ever actually written a character after starting to like them - normally I wibble helplessly and worry about getting them wrong.

And. Oh my god. OH MY GOD. *seizes* This is f-locked so mostly for my own reference. Nineteen by Esh. Pepper/Aubrey with an ELECTRIC OBEDIENCE COLLAR and the line,

They had tried it out -- or, more appropriately, Pepper had tried it out while Aubrey was asleep, resulting in Aubrey having a minor spasm and shouting every conceivable curse known to man and a few otherwise and Pepper responding with "So twenty is too high? Let's try nineteen."

I may be going out and being social. Maybe. There is watermelon being used as a lure.

It's official. I'm desperately, hopelessly in love with Pepper and Aubrey, and I am not the only one.

I edited and posted my hp_wankfest piece, and showed it to Raisa, which made her want to write, which made me want to write, so I did the Justin+Zacharias=Independence challenge drabble. *sighs* *pets them*

I've also done some more sewing, and I lugged my mattress back down this morning so I have a real bed again. Sleeping on the floor was actually fun though - as I'd predicted, it felt like camping out. My muscles ache a bit from moving so much furniture so quickly yesterday though - I was/will be paid for two and a half hours, but it took an hour and a quarter, including dismantling the bed, so that's not too bad. I'm aiming to not spend any unnecessary money, and if I stick to that, then on my biobirthday I'll be getting myself a present.

I have also given in to pleas and joined a Marauder era game. I retrofitted my Liam Vaisey that sadly never got into play, renamed him Octavius Pepper, gave him a job as a hitwizard and got all up in Blurred Lines. Esh also has a hitwizard, Aubrey, who is Pepper's new ickle wee partner. He is totally Pepper's puppy. And Raisa plays Emmeline and Claire and Ashley are both there, and Mango which I assume is the same Mango I've played with before, but not so extensively that we're all jumping on each other. It's more a sort of in passing thing. But the new Remus player also seems exceptionally cool. In general, I'm pretty optimistic about it - it's also much more active than DD, though Neph and Victoria have been getting all girl-talky over there and it's fantastic. And Ruth wants to RP with me so we have to decide what to log. I'm quite tempted by Harry+Zacharias snark, to be honest.

Anyway. I have to finish making my bed - I put the electric blanket on the mattress, and the fitted sheet, and that's it so far.

I'm fairly sure there is a mouse in my room. I have never actually seen the mouse, or any physical signs of it (nibbles at my food, droppings), but I can hear animal noises at night sometimes that sound like a mouse. I went to the petstore near here but they don't have live mouse traps and I don't wanna kill it if it exists because it's an ickle mousie, even if it is wild and not very sociable.

I'm tempted to embrace it as my own and leave out a wheel and stuff for it to play on and food and water. Only tempted. Though, at least if I leave a wheel out and hear the squeaking I'll know there really is a mouse.

I have two baby wajas born, both of which might be given away or sold cheaply, and more coming in 3-4 hours - the next litter is from Umber and Hatsuyaki, so 60~ and 100 in LQ. Chances are fairly good there's more than one. And Earth or Divine. *swoon* These ones ought to have fairly good stats, too. We shall see.

I'm slacking horribly on my challenge drabbles. I have Yellow nearly finished and then there's just Zacharias+Justin Independence.

I'm going to do that drabble meme. Pick a character I've played (and maybe another one that I didn't play, or even another one that I did play), pick a prompt, I'll try and write it. I... don't really have a proper character list, I need to fix the one I do have, so just use your memories. I can't be bothered putting in all the little games. And GJ is farked so I can't be bothered tracking down default icons from those characters either.
