We also shared a few favourite TW vids on twitter yesterday but today I keep rewatching this Iron Man one even though I haven't actually seen Iron Man yet, because it's pretty much awesome.

Sometime I will probably do a Mentalist vid. Right now though I'm working on Liontamer and getting clips together for Englishman in New York (for Ianto) so it can wait.


For several hours yesterday, amusingly, someone had vandalised the wikipedia article on Ianto Jones to say that he was the "Sex God" of Torchwood Three and later became the love interest of the series' [vandalist's name], though we changed the last bit to the love interest of the series' pterodactyl and coffee machine. There's an off-the-cuff secret roleplaying Jack and Ianto on twitter as well and Ianto was very amused, especially when later someone fixed the article, but changed the first line to state that Ianto Jones was a non-fictional character.

Good lord that meta got out of hand. Thinking way too much when I should be working on my prompt for the 10th.

I'm playing my Torchwood house and like all of them have reached their lifetime wants except Martha, who's just waiting to go back to work for her last promotion. Ianto has finished TWO lifetime wants, as after he got business tycoon I randomly put him in the culinary track to get the candy maker career reward, and his second want was earn $100,000, and he just now got a chance card that when he won gave him a logic point and $55,000. Nice! Now he wants to be a criminal mastermind, though he's one promotion off completing the culinary track so I want him to do that first.

Jack is a flight officer in the military as he tries to reach General, though he's been abducted by aliens so he'll have a baby to look after soon. Tosh is a criminal mastermind, but she's going to switch to the adventurer track soon. Owen finished the science track and is now working on gamer.

Also, they have about six career objects in the house, $206,000 in cash and I replaced the garage with a swimming pool. I'm thinking about sticking a third storey on the house.

I hurt. I feel utterly broken into pieces. Don't know what I'm doing now. It was hard enough to write yesterday and it should have been better today but it's like... I don't know. I said I didn't want my tv to apologise for how the world was, but. That wasn't even my show.

More spoilers zomg. I'm not doing one of these for Into the Silence because I just... didn't take any notes when I was reading it. It was good, but of the three it was the weakest, I think, though it may just be that it was the most Gwen-heavy and I wanted more Ianto.

I have read two more Torchwood books and I like these ones that are set in mid season two because they actually have Ianto in them. I was expecting to like Trace Memory more than Pack Animals, but Pack Animals was so much fucking cooler. That shit was awesome. (Though Ianto's "I am bored, barefoot, eating pizza and having a James Bondathon" moments in TM were pretty neat. And him and Jack "having the place to themselves", but only as long as it didn't interrupt his James Bondathon. I'm imagining Jack doing distracting things to him while he watches Goldfinger, now...)

There's a lot of fanfic where Ianto is in love with Jack and Jack mostly just wants to shag him silly. Which can be fun (especially the shagging bit), but my interpretation is sort of... almost the complete opposite.

This may seem obvious, but it means there are certain ramifications that some of you seem not to be grasping. Namely that, as you like to point out, Jack has genitalia sized quite firmly above average. When inserted into the anus, especially the first time, this is quite likely to hurt.

Things that make it even more likely to hurt are the complete absence of lubrication and pre-penetration preparation. I do not think Ianto would much approve of Jack just sticking it in there. (I'm not sure Jack would much approve either, for that matter. Before or after Ianto kicked him in the balls.)
