Last night was sitcom night. I was starting to almost think that The Big Bang Theory could be kind of amusing when the group of not conventionally attractive guys decided that they should go to a bar to wait until the hot girls were drunk enough to have sex with them, because dubious consent is hilarious. And one of them managed to score! But in a crazy twist, he woke up the next morning to find himself in bed with a not conventionally attractive girl and was horrified. LOL LOL!

Yeah, I'm oversensitive. Sometimes it's a pain because it really detracts from being able to enjoy half the mass media.

The Big Bang Theory is on while I do dishes on Wednesdays and tonight Penny told Howard that his come ons were creepy and pathetic. I'm not sure if we're supposed to feel sorry for him or not but all I can think is "go Penny".

like, at the start, when it's saying about the curse on the beast, it would be quite funny if he had a super gay love affair, since it specifically uses female pronouns. but more, um, he has until his 21st year to fall in true and mutual love with a girl! idk how old he's supposed to be when the curse gets put on him but that's really not long especially since you have to factor in time to get over angst about, you know, being turned into a furry. so either he has hardly any time to fall in love, or he's being punished for something he did at a ridiculously young age.

BL is made of crack. Pepper's losing it, which makes me super happy, and there's babies in the post and Rufus freaking out and the DMLE babysitters club and Lily's allcaps spazz attack.

Order of the Phoenix is on tv and I'm picking at it a bit. There are sixth years in the DA who could not cast expelliarmus. How did they pass their OWLs?

I got mats for my rabbit. They're super rugged and he was like "SHITBEARS! NEW STUFF!" And all rugs and mats were half price. Woot. The supermarket had no parsley but I found some mint.

• My mum has taken my eldest sister to the doctor. :/ She has a cold or flu and was having some trouble breathing.
  
• Whose idea was it to put watery cheese sauce and some unidentified fruit inside crumbed fake chicken? Seriously?
  
• My rabbit's feets are sticking out in the back :D he's lying under my chair :D
  
• The hay I got from Black's isn't as good as the Animates stuff for cage bedding. It seems to soak up a lot more liquid and gets messy and icky. What I really want is just to cover the floor in grass matting but it's hard to find that here. Otherwise I might get some toweling to put in there. Sawdust I worry about him breathing in the dust, I could put litter but his cage is fairly generously sized and that would get expensive, plus his water bottle drips a little so the litter would get wet and annoying in that corner.

• Pepper didn't react well to the news about sterilisation bills and forced terminations. He is quite an unwell person.

That might be the best part of this Leverage ep, but it's hard to say. It's a pretty funny ep.

I can't believe they let Patrick loose in a casino.

I kinda want to use him for a DE at CM, but I also want an IC DE, and he's... nowhere near old enough. But his waistcoat! And his woobly hair!

Apparently RTD has said that the events of CoE will not be acknowledged in the last two Dr Who specials of this year.

All I can think is that this will make it easier for me to pretend it never existed.

My bun was super hyper this morning it was so cute. He was sprinting everywhere and he sniffed out the bag of treats and was standing up against the bed going "I SMELL NOMS!" So I gave him some.

That happened.



I hurt. I feel utterly broken into pieces. Don't know what I'm doing now. It was hard enough to write yesterday and it should have been better today but it's like... I don't know. I said I didn't want my tv to apologise for how the world was, but. That wasn't even my show.

I'm watching the first ep of The Sarah Jane Adventures (and I kind of want to icon Alan and Maria Jackson and maybe Kelsie for random ethnic goodness) but I have to say.... "Okay, we've just moved in, I'm suddenly a solo dad for the first time - of course, the first thing I'm going to do is let my child run off into town with a random kid who just turned up at the doorstep who I haven't been introduced to or anything!" She didn't even freaking ask permission or tell him she was going until he stopped them to say goodbye.

The first conversation between Alan and Sarah Jane was pretty hilarious though. "Thanks for making us feel welcome!"

I've been cuddling my bunny on my lap for the last half hour or so. He's like a fuzzy wee hot water bottle that sort of quietly purrs in his head. The last three or four times I've picked him up he hasn't struggled at all, he just shifted round on my lap to get comfy, which is good.

Also: he does not like pea pods. He left the one I gave him half-mangled on the floor, lol.

Think on Monday I will call the vet and make a Tues appointment to follow up about his head tilt.


Apparently mum is picking up takeaways for dinner tonight. :D I said either KFC or fish and chips so I guess we'll see which one she decides on.

All my tv shows ended. :(
